Mrs. Kelly Diaz, Assistant Principal
Kelly Diaz grew up in North Texas and discovered her passion for education while studying at The University of Texas at Austin, where she worked with a nonprofit organization to provide tutoring support at a local elementary school. She later earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Spanish from The University of Texas at Arlington.
Kelly began her career in Dallas ISD, where she spent eight years teaching 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. These years in the classroom deepened her commitment to fostering student success and building strong relationships with families and communities. Driven by a desire to make a broader impact, she pursued a Master’s in Urban Educational Leadership through Southern Methodist University, preparing her to serve in school leadership with a focus on equity, opportunity, and student growth.
Kelly is passionate about empowering both students and teachers to thrive, and she values creating collaborative school cultures where every child feels a sense of belonging. She is honored to serve the Greiner community and looks forward to continuing to build strong partnerships with families, staff, and students.

Mrs. Alanya Giannetto, Assistant Principal
Hello! My name is Alanya Giannetto, and I’m proud to serve as one of the Assistant Principals at W.E. Greiner Exploratory Arts Academy. Originally from Chicago, I’ve had the unique opportunity to live abroad in Bangkok, Thailand and Shanghai, China, which has shaped my global perspective on education and community.
I began my teaching career in Tulsa, Oklahoma through Teach for America. I taught middle school Math for eight years. My journey started in special education, teaching 6th–8th grade Math at a Tulsa Public School. After moving to Dallas, I continued teaching 7th and 8th grade Math and later served in leadership roles at Harold Wendell Lang Sr. Middle School as an Instructional Lead Teacher and at Francisco Pancho Medrano Jr. High School as a Math Demonstration Teacher.
Before stepping into my current role, I was the Math Demonstration Teacher here at Greiner. I’m excited to support our 8th grade students and help them thrive academically and personally.
